youtube video

April 24, 2008

Well, after finding a tutorial on youtube to do a youtube video, I now have one.  I used Camtasia to convert a Powerpoint into a video.  It is my first one, so it is nothing spectacular—-but it’s a start.

Camtasia is located at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp?CMP=KgoogleCStmhome.

The tutorial I found is located here.

And my video is located :

embedding will be my next accomplishment

Thanks for the link to the tutorial. Also, I watched your video; I think you did a great job!

I too am in EDUC 621 and downloaded the trial version of Camtasia as well. I really thought it was very user friendly and was able to create a video much easier than I thought I could.

Thanks to both of you. There is much more that Camtasia can do—-and I will do other videos in the future that are better. I will seriously try to do one with a digital camera or cell phone with live video footage. But I think for those who already have a great PowerPoint–that Camtasia would be good to transfer that PowerPoint into something else.
